The trailer of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara released on Monday. His fans were eagerly waiting for this. There was so much madness about it that in the first two hours of uploading YouTube, about 5 lakh people saw it. The film will be streamed on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on July 24.

Mukesh Chhabra is the director of the film :
Dil Bechara is the first directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra from casting director to film director. Earlier the film was being produced under the names Kiji and Maini, but in February 2019 it was renamed, Dil Poor. The film is based on the 2012 John Green novel titled The Fault in Our Stars, which was also made into a Hollywood film in 2014.
The release date of the film changed twice :
Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, the film was earlier scheduled to release on 29 November 2019, but for some reason, it’s release date was further extended to 8 May 2020. Meanwhile, the lockdown was declared due to the coronavirus outbreak and the cinema halls closed. So it could not reach the big screen.
The film became special after Sushant’s death :
On June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. The passing away of a young, talented, and popular actor at such a young age also hurt people, and their sympathy for Sushant greatly increased. After which people eagerly awaited the release of his film.

When the film’s makers announced its digital premiere on 25 June, common people including Sushant’s family also objected to it and expressed their anger on social media. Sanjana appealed not to protest :
After seeing the anger of the fans about the digital premiere, the film’s actress Sanjana Sanghi, while sharing a voice message on Instagram, pleaded not to do so. Sanjana had said, ‘The entire team of the film has shed a lot of sweat for two and a half years. Of course, the film was made for release on the big screen, but could not happen due to the corona epidemic. ‘ Sanjana said, “Don’t look at the screen size for the film, instead you can make the heart size as big as you want, as much as you can fill it with love and pride.”
Armaan extended the release date of the song :
Singer Armaan Malik’s single ‘Zara Badho’ was also scheduled to release on Monday, but seeing the trailer release of ‘Dil Bechara’, Armaan extended his song’s launching event two days ahead. In a statement issued by her, it said that to honor Sushant, we have decided to release ‘Zara Ritho’ on 8 July.
