Lucifer 5 trailer review: Lucifer is seen leaving and going back to hell at the start of the trailer. However, a while later, he returns. While fans are thinking that it is Lucifer who has come back but in reality, it is Lucifer’s twin brother, Michael. He hides that he is Michael instead and introduces himself as ‘Lucifer 2.0’.
When Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) asks him how he could go back home without him, he reveals the truth. He tells her that he is not Lucifer. Mazikeen remembers how Lucifer had told her about a twin brother. It is then revealed that Lucifer’s brother Michael has entered to take over his brother’s life.
Season 5 was expected to make its way in Spring or Summer of 2020. However, due to the widespread corona pandemic, Netflix stopped the production of all its show. Lucifer season 5 will have 2 parts of 8 episodes each only on NETFLIX.
Hell yes. The date won’t be much of a surprise to Lucifer fans – on Sunday 21st June, fans spotted a release date on Lucifer’s Netflix title page, which read: “Season 5 Part 1 Coming August 21.”
As per the reports we have, all 16 episodes have been written and the shooting till episode 15 had been finished. The production was preparing for the 16th episode when the lockdown was announced. Due to lockdown, the post-production work has also stopped.
We can expect the first part (8 episodes) to release in late 2020. However, it all depends on the pandemic situation which is getting worse day by day.
The actor, who plays Lucifer Morningstar, became involved in lengthy negotiations with Netflix, but Deadline reports that he is now signed on to reprise his role if a sixth season is ordered. so we can only hope.
